Last night we were talking
Just talking about us
About how our future would be
You we're saying that you
Didn't know what you wanted
Not even if there was a future 'we'
And now I am:

Dreaming of my wishes
Wishing,
Whishing that my hopes come true

I was thinking that we both
Knew which way we were going
I didn't expect such uncertainty
Then I started questioning
Why would we hold on to each other
